Woollahra House

NSW

Madeleine was project architect for this house while working with David Katon at BKH.

An existing free standing Victorian home was restored and a new, ultra simple wing and outdoor pavilion added at the rear.

The new wing houses a stainless steel kitchen with 7m long corian dining table fixed in the centre of the space.

A new pool, terrace and upstairs bedrooms were part of the design. The new wing matches the grandeur and proportion of the existing spaces but with openings and connection to the garden that are unmistakably contemporary.
